Madam Law

This panorama is taken from Madam Law on the western boundary of the Valley.

You can see the Newton Tors on the right side and Ring Chesters is mid and left just past the plantation.

Hen hole and cheviot

Just in case you ever wondered what the Hen hole looks like, this panorama is taken from just past the mountain refuge hut and a little beyond Red Cribs.All this is part of the Schil walk.

Dunsdale – cold snow in winter

It can be isolated up here. Ok …so the snow only comes maybe two or three weeks in the year but when it arrives the scenery changes completely

Just at the top of the crags there is a small hidden valley with a little stream. Beautiful.
